SANTA WEARING A MINK FUR COAT

Alla Kournikova fell in love with my work and asked me for a big Santa set with lots of antiques and toys. Santa was to be dressed in mink and be the best Santa I have ever designed.... so here is what I made..He is dressed in a silk lined full length trailing coat with matching base. A gold robe tucked under the coat with wide vintage silk trim, same trim on the vintage cashmere toy bag....and this fur hat Russian style to suit her homeland.

He has a huge vintage aurora borealis brooch to keep his coat secured. For the extra Russian touch I made her vintage silk handmade clothes for this precious porcelain ballerina. I made her a fur stole, and sewed small sequins and stones onto her dress...

I also added a few bears, and parcels all handmade ....some covered in silk and all with trims added. Lots of extras too like the German horses, and celluloid tiger, and a putz cow....Alla asked me to make her an even bigger Santa for next year...in sable fur...I am thrilled as you can imagine.

This Santa was sold at The Biltmore Estate. The dog is vintage and made from real fur too. I made the dolly in a matching fur trim.This Santa sold at The Biltmore Estate too. I made a bag, added porcelain dolls fom England and a book and baby cradle.Doggie is Santa's pal. Santa above was a special order. He wears vintage mink and gold velvety fabric. It is a loaded set wih a matching fur doll.They live with my # 1 fan Mary in COLORADO.

This Santa wears his with vintage clasps to decorate the cloak...he now lives in Japan....Tamae made these beautiful decorated trees to go with him....Tamae is a florist with great skills in her craft as you can see!She has 2 more of my Santa's and an owl halloween set too! This Santa belongs to Ellen.This is her 3 rd Santa,

and she wants another one.I am blessed.

This Santa sold on ebay too....He lives in Montana now....here is a note from his new owner....

This beautiful Santa was made using another vintage mink coat....I added a pull toy pony, a Norma DeCamp jack in the box toy and many other vintage goodies.He lives with Rick in Georgia.He was won on ebay. See his feedback on that page.

This Santa above is one that sold at The Biltmore Estate. He's wearing vintage mink in a unique design of mine.... He brought along another vintage fur hound and the dolly with ice skates.He has a blue brocade gown and iridescent trim down the front. A set of magnificent matching mink cuffs and antique jewelry to finish.
