I just adore this Santa..Gretchen adopted him and he now lives in New Hampshire. I made him with wool fabric from a Christian Dior garment and he is trimmed with a sheepskin collar. I used my favorite porcelain for tihs set.I made the bauble and he carries an old wreath. He is an awesome Santa and I think my greatest so far. The photos can't capture his beauty as much as I had hoped though...you have to see him in person to appreciate this creation.
These are 2 Santas that sold on EBAY, one went to Colleen in Colorado where he was sent as a Christmas present, and well recieved...then this green Santa has this feedback..... "Hi Angie, everything was in great condition thank you. It is a Christmas gift for a friend who collects Santa Claus". carol_mickey(EBAY FEEDBACK)
This much loved Santa is one I made for ebay.I love him especially because he looks like my Dad.He wears my hand stitched vintage ENGLISH mohair coat with a vintage brooch to finish. Santa has a gorgeous lambswool beard. I painted him in this weathered shade and his hands too.The toy sack holds doll house toys and miniature English spaniels. The bear is a Hermann collectible from Germany. This Santa lives with my great ebay customer "moose60015" real name Sheila. She's a very special lady. His coat is a claret/burgundy shade very Victorian in style. The vintage fur is from Germany...off my friend Dana. His gloves match the green velvet on the toy sack. The ballet slippers I made from clay. His cloak is secured with a huge vintage beaded clasp. His cane was a real bent twig. Another lovely little set I am so proud!feedback on EBAY: "WOW! What a truly wonderful Santa. Super to buy from. Thank you"
THIS SANTA in a purple velvet coat was a special order from Mary Mourning...see her on the Feedback/Comments page.
