PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MY DOLLS ARE NOT TOYS, THEY ARE FOR DISPLAY ONLY AND ARE FRAGILE.
THEY SHOULD LAST A LIFETIME IF YOU CARE TO TREAT THEM WELL.
Most of my Santa Claus dolls are made from paper mache clay on armatured bodies, like this one seen above. Some of my dolls are made with porcelain wearing real fur coats, and posable arms. See this one below ...he has a fur coat, porcelain head and hands with a mohair beard.
All of my dolls have hand painted features, real wool hair from goats and sheep etc, and some have fur beards on the hide.
To prolong the life of your Santa do not place him near heat
and especially NOT near an open flame fireplace.
Sunlight will BLEACH out the colors of the fur.
I always recommend lifting these Santas up carefully under both of his arms...gently place him, then pose his arms as you wish.
Keep him dust free with use of a lint brush on his clothes. Or use a very gentle low or no heat hairdryer to blow away the dust.
Do not brush beard or hair just seperate locks with the end of a tail comb.
Real fur Santa dolls are easy to keep as long as you care about him.
Cover Santa with a cotton pillow case when you need to store him. Try and keep him upright so as not to squash the furs.
All my paper mache clay dolls have varnished features, as seen above. If they gather dust on their faces use a small brush like a blusher brush for example to get it off. Do not wet the brush. On the garments dust will come off with scotch tape , it's great on most fabrics.
If you have any problems with one of my dolls you have purchased just contact me for help.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
